Deliverable 4.3 Linked Open Data Server and SPARQL

Deliverable 4.2 (Harvesting metadata records using the OAI-PMH protocol) explains how
the Archipel platform will harvest its data. For this it uses the OAI-PMH protocol for
harvesting the data and a mapping service to map the harvested metadata records to
Dublin Core RDF, which creates a common ground for the harvested records and lets one
manage all the harvested records on the same base. This DC RDF descriptions of the
harvested metadata records are ingested into the triple store and can now be published as
Linked Open Data.
